Update your PC to Windows 11
Since the arrival of Windows 11 in June 2021, Windows 10 has become increasingly obsolete, and we strongly recommend that those still on the old version upgrade. Windows 11 offers a number of advantages:
Aesthetics and ergonomics have been improved, without upsetting work habits: the file explorer, Start menu, context menu and applications delivered with the system have been subtly refreshed for greater comfort.
Increased security: the "Secure boot" function prevents malicious software from being loaded into memory when the PC starts up, and virtualization protects anti-virus software against attacks from the programs it is fighting.
Better integration of Copilot provides access to the power of generative artificial intelligence for writing texts, editing images and more.
Unlike Windows 10, for which Microsoft will no longer provide free security updates from mid-October 2025, Windows 11 will continue to be supported for several years.
Switching to Windows 11 is free, so there's no reason to miss out.
Please note that the hardware requirements for Windows 11 are stricter than for Windows 10, which means that your PC may not be compatible with Windows 11. In particular, it must be equipped with a version 2.0 TPM chip. Please see this page on the Microsoft website for more information.
