New in version 7.1: improved on-screen printing on Windows

Until version 7.0 of Office Maker for Windows, on-screen printing used the XPS technology developed by Microsoft.

With each Windows 10 update, Microsoft gradually gave up promoting this technology and no longer offered ad hoc software, forcing users to install this software themselves. Therefore, we decided to use the competing PDF technology. Therefore, on-screen printing uses the Microsoft Print To PDF printer driver pre-installed on every PC. Depending on the settings of your PC, the preview will be displayed either with Microsoft Edge or with a third party software like Adobe Reader.

The document displayed on the screen can be saved in PDF format for archiving, sending by e-mail, printing later, etc.

With the PDF format, on-screen printing offers a guarantee of durability and platform universality.
